Year-Round for the Right Fit

Our busy season runs spring through fall, but the right people have a year-round spot with us. Seasonal or long-haul — your call.

A Day on the Crew

Here’s what the job actually looks like.

No bait-and-switch. This is an honest look at what a typical Delivery Crew shift feels like from the minute you clock in.

8:00 AM

Load up

Show up at the warehouse. Load the truck with the day’s rentals. Get the route briefing from your Team Lead.

9:00 AM

Hit the road

Most of your shift is spent in an air-conditioned truck driving between setups around Springfield and the Ozarks.

On-site

Set up, stake down, safety check

Talk to the customer, place the equipment, anchor and inspect everything. Most setups are wrapped in about 30 minutes.

5:00 PM

Clock out clean

Typical shifts are 8–10 hours. On cleaning days we set items up, clean them out, and put them away. Music is encouraged.

☀️ Real talk: you’ll sweat. Some days start before 8am (school field days, project grads). But you’re never alone, the work is never boring, and we don’t take shortcuts — especially on safety.
Open Roles

Three ways to join the crew.

Most of our team is out in the field running events. If you’re not sure where you fit, apply for Delivery Crew — it’s our biggest team and covers the full range of what we do.

Detailer

$15–$17/hr · Weekday hours

Right now our delivery crew handles detailing between jobs — but we’re building toward a dedicated detailer team. If you love steady indoor work, have a sharp eye for clean, and want to be part of a growing role, this is for you.

  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Enjoys steady, focused work
  • Great for year-round stability

Office / CSR

$16–$20/hr · Mon–Fri

A different path entirely — you’re the friendly voice of Jumping Jacks. Answer calls, build quotes, and help customers plan events from our office.

  • Strong written and phone communication
  • Comfortable with computers and CRM tools
  • Customer-first attitude

From the Crew

What it’s really like to work here.

I came in thinking this would be a summer job and ended up making Team Lead. The crew actually has your back and the work flies by when you’re with good people.

I work around my classes at MSU and they actually respect my schedule. Best job I’ve had in college — and I get to see kids lose their minds over a bounce house every weekend.

Real Questions, Real Answers

Frequently Asked.

Do I need experience?
Not for Delivery Crew, Detailer, or most starting roles. We do paid training and pair new hires with experienced Team Leads. Tent Install and Office roles do prefer some related background.
Is this just a seasonal job?
Our busiest season runs from Easter through Halloween, so a lot of our hiring is seasonal. But we keep a year-round core team, and the people who show up, work hard, and want to stay have a year-round home with us.
How many hours a week will I get?
Delivery Crew shifts are typically 8–10 hours. During peak season (May–September) full-time crew often get 30–40+ hours a week. Part-time weekend-only schedules are also available if that’s what you need.
Is it actually hard work?
Yes — we’re not going to sugarcoat it. You’ll lift equipment, work in the heat, and sweat. But most of your shift is in an air-conditioned truck driving between sites, and setups typically take about 30 minutes each. If you like being active and hate being stuck behind a desk, you’ll love it.
Can I work around my school or other job?
Absolutely. We have college students, parents, and people with day jobs all on our crew. We build the weekly schedule around your availability.
What does advancement actually look like?
Most crew start as Team Members. After you’ve proven you’re safe, reliable, and great with customers, you can move up to Team Lead — more pay, more responsibility, and you’re running the crew on-site. From there, we’ve had people grow into logistics, office, and install-team leadership.
Do I need my own truck?
No. All deliveries are in our branded Jumping Jacks trucks. You just need reliable transportation to get yourself to our warehouse and a valid driver’s license (preferred, not required for all roles).
